Emily and I were married on August 10, 2001 in Fowlerville, MI. To this day, I still can’t believe she went through with it. I married way out of my league. For some reason, I have a few people in my life who keep reminding me of this, which I guess is good. She says that we’re very much in the same league, which makes me look good.
Not only is she a wonderful wife; she’s also an awesome mom to our three kids: Lexi, Mac and Zach. We have a unique sitiuation in that our 5 year old daughter, Lexi, was born with Down Syndrome. This has provided many challenges and even more opportunities for joy. I must tell you that it has taken us nearly 5 years to see life this way. She’s our beautiful daughter, a great kid who will do great things! Lexi, Mac and Zach are our kids who truly say the darndest things. Oh, the stories we could tell.
