lessons

Every once in a while I will take on a private student for a semester or two, covering stuff like Voice, Worship Leading, Keyboarding, SuperBasic Music Theory, and the like.

My aim is to work with people who sense a call to lead worship — to help them grow in the variety of skill sets that it takes to do this well.  So, it’s less about teaching a 9 year old about how to strum and more about working with someone who wants to sharpen their abilities in corporate worship leading.

I have had the privilege of working with a few students over the years that are doing great things already.   Since I, too, am a student (and always will be), I’m all about the learning environment being practical while finding a solid ground in good philosophy and, in this case, Theology.
