Teaching/Preaching for Ministry Events:

Every once in a while I am invited to speak at a camp, retreat, workshop or service.  I am comfortable with most age groups, but I really feel at home with students between 6th grade and College.  Although I serve as a Worship Pastor full time, I have found that I am some kind of part-time Youth Pastor for a week at a time or something.  I’m still not sure how that worked out.

Anyway, if you need a speaker/teacher/preacher/worship leader, perhaps I can be of service.  The Lord has given me opportunity over the last 10 years to minister to people from Michigan to Colorado and even Canada.

When I speak, I like a good balance of good times and deep, heart-grabbing stuff.  My goal is to keep people fully engaged and to experience transformation that only God can bring.

Teaching in an Academic Setting:

I teach a 4-credit undergraduate class in Radio at Spring Arbor University (AUD 174) which covers broadcasting, audio technology and creative writing, among other things.  I hold students to a high standard of communication excellence while dabbling in new and unexplored areas — balancing academic quality with creative freedom.

Because I have led corporate worship nearly every Sunday for the last 12 years, not to mention camps and conferences, I have seen a few things in Worship Minsitry that can help a team be more effective.  I’m not saying that I have all my ducks in a row or that I’ve achieved something great, but I do enjoy helping others to join me on the journey toward organizational health and effectiveness in worship ministry.  I can work with your team, an individual leader, or do a workshop on Worship studies.
